We at Good Guys Hosting have a unique server setup. Unlike most hosts who buy 1 powerful server and place 300 clients on it, we take the oppisite approach. We purchase several smaller servers and place less then 100 accounts on the server.

Server Limits
Below are the limits that we place on a server.
Maximum Accounts (Per Server) : 125 - Average 43
RAM
All of our custom servers have a Minimum of 2 GB of 800 MHz RAM. This is some of the fastest RAM on the market.
CPU
All of our custom servers contain a Genuine Intel Atom Dual-Core that is running at 1.6Ghz. Atoms are not just for netbooks anymore, They work very well for Web Hosting. Due to the increased efficiency of the Atom Processors, we have reduced our power consumption by close to 70%. This is our way of being green.
RAID Protected Storage
All of our servers contain two 250 GB SATA Hard Drives that are configured in a RAID1 Configuration. This allows both speed and redundancy. We intentionally purchase these smaller drives in order to ensure that there are no i/o overloads on the servers. This also sets a hard limit on how many clients can fit on the server.
Network Port
All of our servers are connected to a 100 MBit Connection that is feed by 70+ Peers.
